THE FIEFDOM OF RUSTICA

KING
FREDERICK V
OUR FLAG
represents what Rustica is all about: Since the first Rusticans were fishermen and thus laid the foundation for the economy of our country, two goldfinned carps adorn our flag as national animals. Furthermore, the green symbolises the splendour of our island, the blue stands for the water that surrounds us, together they give us life.

OUR GOVERNMENTAL STRUCTURE
Under the leadership of the royal family, Rustica has developed into the virtuous country that it is today. Their generosity is incomparable. For more than twelve generations they have given the people fields to cultivate, residences to live in, men to protect them and to whom they can look up.

The Peacekeepers provide spiritual guidance to His Majesty and the people, as well as military security. The King is also assisted by the noble Honourable Inner Circle, which consults him on legal matters. To reward them for their important tasks, the Peacekeepers are given land and manors, and they see to it that the royal rules and regulations are satisfactorily fulfilled.
They watch over their regions and the villages in their areas and provide protection and safety if disagreements should ever arise among them. The Peacekeepers are supported by the Caretakers, renowned and experienced fishermen and farmers, who are responsible for ensuring that the hard-working Commonfolk fulfill their duties and carry out the services they have been asked to provide without interference. In addition, they are supported by soldiers who are locally responsible for law and order and who can be appointed to the national military by the chiefs and the commanders of the Peacekeepers, should there ever be major armed conflicts.

To show their deep gratitude for the Peacekeepers' and the Caretakers' contributions, the maids and servants take care of the animals, the fields, the rivers and lakes and proudly provide the whole country with what they successfully catch and harvest.
